Inspired by examples of contemporary Mexican architecture, this one bedroom villa has been designed with an eye to breathtaking vistas and comfortable, casual living, both indoors and out. Beautifully landscaped, Fletch’s Cove is truly a paradise. Ceiling fans in every room and carefully placed louvered windows which take advantage of the prevailing easterly winds ensure your comfort. Views of St. Martin, the sea and access to a small beach make this one of the best escapes on Anguilla.
Decor
The decor is decidedly rustic, combining Saltillo tile floors with rough plastered walls, heavy wood beams, Mexican pottery and furnishings hand crafted from Asian hardwoods.
Kitchen
Food preparation is made easy with an efficient layout, ample counter space and contemporary stainless steel refrigerator (with ice-maker), gas range, microwave and dishwasher. Two large windows and a ceiling fan provide excellent ventilation. A gas grill is available outside in the barbecue area.
Living Room
Lounge in comfort on your choice of 2 sofas while viewing your favorite TV programs or a movie from our video/DVD collections. If music is your pleasure, you can enjoy your “own” music for hours with our Bose iPod Docking Station. The floor to ceiling louvered windows (with screens) and a large ceiling fan provide for excellent air movement. A powder room is adjacent.
Dining Room
For an intimate evening at home, dine by candlelight at the rustic wooden dining table with the sounds of the surf and lights of St. Martin as your companions. The fold back the louvered doors provide an unobstructed view.
Master Bedroom
Furnished with a king size sleigh bed, this room has solid oak floors, TV/VCR/DVD, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, and twin closets. The sunken master bathroom has a large shower, vanity with double sinks and a full-length mirror. French glass doors provide an excellent view of the ocean and open onto a spacious balcony featuring 2 chaises with cushions and a side table.
Cabana
Designed as a change room, with direct access to the pool and terrace, it contains a bathroom with separate shower, day bed and armoire. The Cabana can also be used as a small extra bedroom for one person.
Lap Pool (10x33 ft) and Terrace (400 sq. ft)
Cool off with a refreshing dip or exercise by doing a few laps. After your swim, relax in the sun on one of the cushioned chaises. A cedar trellis provides a shaded setting for four, to dine or to lounge, around an outdoor table.
Beach
Just steps away from the Villa, enjoy the peace and privacy of this small, secluded beach. Naturally protected by a barrier reef the waters are usually calm and ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
